In Northern Michigan the beauty is endless so given the choice I prefer the natural light and beauty of Northern Michigan! Your favorite spot or mine.....

But, there always is the occasion that the studio is a more appropriate setting. So let me give you a peek into the Pink Trillium Photography Studio. It has great natural light, but the umbrella lights lights are there to assist on the not so sunny days.....

Backdrops of white, barnboard, stone, fur,...etc to choose from. I also incorporate many props to keep the little ones smiling! Beyond the rocking horse there is also antique pedal cars, vintage sled, vintage suitcases, wagon's, vintage school desk, anything to get a perfect smile! While the props are great it is the smile that is the focus of the portrait. (Props often used in on location shoots too!)This photo shows the many other accessories I incorporate if desired including, hats, newsboy, tutu's, headbands, wings, etc....

Also pictured a favorite wedding prop, the ampersand. The gold disc is is a 5in1 reflector used both in studio sessions and on location sessions to add a warm glow, create a shady spot, or just brighten a smile.

A favorite part of the Pink Trillium Photography studio is the all of the beautiful thank you cards, and testimonials I have received and displayed.
